About the Dutch Institute of Register Experts (NIVRE)
The NIVRE requires registered parties to meet established quality requirements in line with the high demands of today’s market and society. In addition to educational requirements, registered parties must also follow a permanent education programme to maintain their registration.
As an independent institute of damage professionals, NIVRE stands for objective and fair claims assessment for all. Even when interests diverge, we ensure an honest, fair process. So that everyone can move on in confidence. The NIVRE and the experts – as a beacon in the event of damage, yesterday, today and tomorrow. At NIVRE, we believe that everyone in the damage process, from the party involved to the insurer, is entitled to objective and professional treatment from a social point of view, with transparent and honest resolution of damages for all parties involved.
Those registered may use the protected title(s) “NIVRE-re”, “NIVRE-rr”, “NIVRE- rd”, or “rcf”, depending on their field of expertise. The NIVRE logo can only be used by NIVRE itself or by organisations affiliated to the Chamber. The Register lists loss adjusters from various backgrounds, such as loss adjusters employed by insurance companies, self-employed loss adjusters or those associated with a loss adjusting agency, as well as so-called contra-loss adjusters and representatives.
